Myrer has been in the same family since 1888, and the current owners are the fourth generation on the farm. The property lies idyllically and privately at Krokedal on Enebakkneset in Lillestrøm municipality, right on the border with Indre Østfold. Here you can find real peace, enjoying your morning coffee in the sunshine as wildlife wanders past. Your days are spent in beautiful surroundings with sun from morning to evening, encircled by your own fields and forest. It is about 45 minutes by car to Lillestrøm and about 30 minutes to Askim/Mysen. The Krokedalsbekken stream runs through the property and forms the county boundary between Akershus and Østfold, with the farm's fields and forest on both sides.

A sense of history and three homes on the farmyard Myrer has a long and proud history, shaped by generations' close ties to the outlying land, the forest and the soil. The well-tended farmyard has a lovely sense of harmony, and the buildings include three homes: an older farmhouse, a fine secondary dwelling (kårbolig) and a charming annexe. These are complemented by an old stabbur (traditional storehouse), a practical implement shed with grain dryer and storage, a henhouse converted to an office, and an idyllic summerhouse.

Farmhouse (built 1850): 135 m² gross in total. Ground floor (81 m²): 2 living rooms, 2 hallways, kitchen, storage room, laundry, bathroom and WC. First floor (42 m²): 3 bedrooms and landing. Cellar (12 m²). Secondary dwelling (built 1982): 264 m² gross in total. Ground floor (132 m²): Living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, hallway, bathroom and laundry. Basement (132 m²): Family room, laundry, 3 storage rooms and 2 further rooms. Annexe (built 1921): 79 m² gross in total. Ground floor (40 m²): Hallway, bathroom, kitchen and living room. First floor (39 m²): Landing with sleeping alcove, 2 bedrooms and storage. Cellar: Laundry and hallway. Stabbur (built 1850): 40 m² gross. Implement shed (built 1988): 278 m² gross, with machinery storage, an insulated 8 m² room and a cold-air grain dryer with tipping pit. Henhouse/office (believed c. 1960): 25 m² gross, converted to an office in 1991.

The farm and its cultivated land The property extends to approx. 495 daa in total. The farmland amounts to 127 daa and is currently let for grass/grain production. It is split into 11 parcels, but these lie close together and conveniently near the farmyard with good access. The land slopes gently to the south, and the soil is a humus-rich clay. According to records from Nibio, the cultivated land is of very good and good quality.

Strategically placed forest The productive forest covers approx. 323 daa, with a mix of medium and low site quality, spread across 5 parcels on both sides of the county boundary: – In Indre Østfold municipality (gnr/bnr 739/2 and 739/14): these parcels total 296.5 daa and lie just south of the farmyard, beyond the cultivated land and the public road. They were felled a few years ago, so pre-commercial thinning should be expected in the years ahead. Their position next to the public road makes loading timber lorries very easy. – In Lillestrøm municipality (gnr/bnr 487/3): this area totals 119.6 daa in two parcels. One lies north-east of the farmyard with good conditions for loading timber lorries; the other lies a little further east, with a slightly longer haul for extracting timber.

Rich natural resources, hunting and abundant wildlife The fields and woodland to the south teem with wildlife. Elk, red deer, roe deer, lynx and many other species can regularly be seen right from the property. For the keen hunter, the varied terrain offers good small-game hunting. The property holds the right to cull 2 roe deer and belongs to 2 elk-hunting teams, Nordre Båstad Elglag and Søndre Enebakkneset Elgjaktlag.

Trails, swimming and a view of seven church spires The area around Myrer is a paradise for outdoor life in every season. Two kilometres behind the farm, a waymarked trail leads up to the Minjarudkollen lookout tower, from where on clear days you can see 7 church spires and Gaustatoppen. There are also plenty of places to swim, in small forest tarns and in the mighty lake Øyeren nearby.

Directions To reach Myrerveien 29, take county road 22 (Fetveien), the main route through the area along Øyeren. From the north (Lillestrøm/Fetsund): follow Fv22 (Fetveien) south past Gansdalen and continue until you approach the southern part of Enebakkneset, then turn left onto Grorudfjellet and then into Myrerveien. From the south (Mysen/Spydeberg/Trøgstad): follow Fv22 (Fetveien) north; before the county boundary with Akershus/Lillestrøm municipality, turn right onto Grorudfjellet and then into Myrerveien.
